Dad's Day Downtown
June 12, 2013 by Josselyn Berry
Dad’s. They usually get the short end of the holiday stick after the extravaganza that is Mother’s Day. But wait, put down the tie. Put back those Batman boxers. Your dad deserves more.
He’s the man who taught you to change a tire. Or at least gave you his AAA card when you couldn’t figure it out. He’s the fellow who made fish sticks and spaghetti for dinner when Mom was gone. The guy who let you jump off that big rock at the lake one summer.
So instead, take him to your favorite Downtown Phoenix gems.
Visit The Children’s Museum of Phoenix
If pops is wrangling the kids around, head over to the Children’s Museum. They’re offering free admission for all fathers and grandfathers. After the kids tucker themselves out at the interactive exhibits, dad can get a nice brunch at Steve’s Greenhouse Grill. Children’s Museum of Phoenix is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Father’s Day Brunch at Steve’s Greenhouse Grill

Brunch at District American Kitchen and Wine Bar
