Golden Opportunities to Keep it Local (and Save 20 Percent) During Independents Week
June 22, 2016 by Mia Antionette
The Downtown Phoenix area is home to countless local shops, cafes, restaurants and offices. They’re what give the area its unique and eclectic vibe, and during this year’s National Independents Week (June 25-July 4), many of those businesses are encouraging Phoenicians to keep it local by participating in Local First Arizona’s “Golden Coupon“ program. Shoppers can use the Golden Coupon at participating local businesses and receive 20 percent off their purchases.
When you spend your money with local businesses, up to four times more money stays in the local economy to support local jobs, entrepreneurs and communities. Stop by these local spots during Independents Week and enjoy 20 percent discounts while supporting the Downtown Phoenix community. Some restrictions may apply, but not many, so check with the local businesses that you plan to visit.
