When you’re looking for new a new spot to grab lunch or get a new ‘do in Downtown Phoenix, Skyline Lofts Apartment Homes probably isn’t the first place to come to mind. However, the luxury residential housing development located at 600 N. Fourth Street is home to more than just, well, homes.
Several small, locally owned businesses are situated on the ground floor of the Skyline Lofts and we want to introduce you to three that we think are pretty cool.

Fillmore Coffee Co.

Serving locally roasted coffee as well as breakfast, lunch, smoothies and healthy to-go snacks, Fillmore Coffee Co. opened its doors in October. Although it’s new to the neighborhood, Fillmore Coffee Co.’s tomato chutney, Aussie-style ‘flat white’ (think latte) and house-made pastries are putting them on the map. Between the cozy couches, the natural light and the random reggae punk music, Fillmore Coffee. Co is a perfect place to study. Oh, and there’s plenty of outlets to keep your laptop and devices charged.

From traditional updos to shave services and everything in between — guys, gals and grandmas alike can find the kind of service they need at Arcane. Special note to the guys out there: Owner, stylist and barber, Erika Clary’s specialty is a good old-fashioned razor shave complete with hot towels, scrub and facial massage. (Treat yo’ self!)
