This weekend’s forecast is sunny with 100 percent chance for fall festivals and events. And just when you thought you were going to get a break from your busy work week, we’ve compiled a list of fun things to do this weekend in Downtown Phoenix. (Let’s be honest, you were never going to have a lazy weekend anyway.)

Railroad Fest 2017 / Friday, Nov. 3 / 510 E. Lincoln Street

Beer, art, music and trains? Sounds like the best festival ever. Party it up with other history nerds and urban enthusiasts at downtown’s first-ever Railroad Fest. Set against the backdrop of tall exposed ceilings and the red-brick walls of the historic Phoenix Warehouse District, this festival aims to celebrate the rich history and culture of Downtown Phoenix on the other side of the tracks. 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. $20.

Arizona Fall Festival / Saturday, Nov. 4 / Margaret T. Hance Park – East

In its eighth year, Local First Arizona’s Fall Festival is back and better (and bigger) than ever. The family-friendly event celebrates all things Arizona by featuring more than 200 vendors from around the state. Get a head start on your holiday shopping while you enjoy live music, a beer and wine garden, and activities for the kids. Four-legged friends are also welcome. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free to attend.

Sriracha Festival /Saturday, Nov. 4 / Heritage Square

Reach for the Rooster Sauce — the second annual Sriracha Festival returns to Heritage Square Park for a day of delicious Sriracha-inspired food, drinks, a mixology competition and more. Plus there’s a kid zone for the little roosters (12 and under are free). 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. $10.

Midtown Urban Living Tour / Saturday, Nov. 4 / Multiple locations

Get a feel for urban living outside of the downtown core on this self-guided tour through some of the finest buildings in midtown. The tour offers the rare opportunity to explore buildings from mid-century gems like Phoenix Towers to brand new developments like The Muse. 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. $15.

Herberger Theater Festival of the Arts / Saturday, Nov. 4 / Herberger Theater Center

Celebrate creativity in our community at Herberger Theater Center’s 2017 Festival of the Arts. Enjoy music, dance and aerial performances by more than 25 arts organizations. Plus, there will be children’s activities, pet adoptions, food, craft beer and wine tastings, and more. 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Free.

Garfield Gain Block Party / Saturday, Nov. 4 / 928 E. Pierce Street

Get to know new neighbors and friends over an evening of local food, fun, and entertainment. Local restaurants will be cooking up a special menu, and food trucks will be on site to please palettes. There will be lots of activities for kids of all ages including games, face painting, crafts and — most importantly — bouncy houses. 5 to 9 p.m. Free.
