Thanks to a partnership with Valley Metro and Coors, free rides will be available on all Valley Metro bus, rail, Dial-a-Ride and paratransit services Sunday, Dec. 31, beginning at 7 p.m. Uber is also pitching in by offering 10% off two Uber rides to or from rail stations from 3 p.m. on New Year’s Eve until end of service on January 1. New Years Eve 2018 Block Party / Crescent Ballroom and The Van Buren / Sunday, Dec. 31 @ 8 p.m.
One ticket gets you into two of downtown’s hottest venues — Crescent Ballroom and The Van Buren. Second and Third avenues and Van Buren Street will be closed down to create an indoor-outdoor block party with multiple stages, food trucks, ample heat lamps and more. Experience the sights and sounds of Kalliope art car, and The Walter Show with DJ Sean Watson and many more. The Van Buren will be transformed into a downtown disco — Studio 18 with DJ Stoneypie, DJ Dana, and Hi-Dreams playing new and classic disco into the New Year! $15 – $19.
2018 Flannel Ball: NYE Party and Art Show / Growhouse 2.0 / Sunday, Dec. 31 @ 9 p.m.
You’ll be plaid you went to the comfiest New Year’s Eve party in town. Party like it is 1999 by ringing in the new year in the heart of the Roosevelt Row Arts District while wearing your favorite flannels. Enjoy beer, live music, art and food trucks. There will also be plenty of fun activities like lawn games, a photo booth, and piñata drop with champagne toast at midnight. $20 – $25.
NYE 2018 Masquerade Ball /Lucky Strike and Gypsy Bar / Sunday, Dec. 31 @ 8 p.m.
If you like your masquerade ball served with a generous side of beats, bowling and booze, this is the NYE party for you. With DJ Lockdown, complimentary champagne toast at midnight, hosted bar and appetizers available from 8-10 p.m. Special New Year’s Eve lane packages available. Tickets are $20-$300 depending on what package you choose.
New Year’s Eve Celebration / Phoenix Symphony Hall / Sunday, Dec. 31 @ 7:30 p.m.
End the year on a high note while feeling classy at Symphony Hall. The Phoenix Symphony will perform famous Strauss waltzes, seasonal classics as well as Broadway and contemporary favorites, all with a complimentary glass of champagne to celebrate the New Year. $69 – $250.

New Orleans New Year’s Eve Gumbo / Valley Bar / Sunday, Dec. 31 @ 8 p.m.
Valley Bar transforms into a melting pot of New Orleans-style culture this New Year’s Eve with live burlesque, tarot card readings, and a special Southern cocktail menu. Live music by Django Reinhardt will set the vibe, plus Gypsy Swing performed by Zazu, DJentritication, DJ Vex and a special appearance by the Monroe Brass Band. $19 – $25.
