Enjoy the sweet life with friends and neighbors during an afternoon of pie, storytelling, art, music and merriment at the beautiful Margaret T. Hance Park on Sunday, Nov. 4.

Pie Social is an all-ages community building event, connecting people through a shared love of pie. Admission is free and tasting tickets are $15 for five slices, with proceeds benefiting the Roosevelt Row CDC — a nonprofit dedicated to furthering the unique cultural character and creative assets of the Roosevelt Row Artists’ District.
This year, you can expect exclusive culinary delights by the best local bakers in the business: Cartel Coffee Lab, Chico Malo, Copper Blues Rock Pub & Kitchen, Cotton & Copper, The Dressing Room, Handlebar Diner, Match Restaurant & Lounge, Matilda’s Pastries by Design, Nocawich, Ollie Vaughn’s Kitchen and Bakery, Social Hall and Welcome Chicken + Donuts.
Each baker will be competing for several prizes such as “Best Taste,” “Best Presentation,” “People’s Choice” and “Best in Show.” Last year, Tamara Stanger from Cotton & Copper took home the Best in Show award for her ethereal and eclectic hibiscus vinegar pie. Pie lovers will also get to sample the flavors of amateur chefs from Arizona School for the Arts.
Bar Flies, the popular Downtown Phoenix-based live storytelling series, will host a special presentation of Shoo Flies. Plus attendees will be treated to live performances courtesy of the nationally-recognized Roosevelt Row jazz venue The Nash.
