Like a bottle of wine, Phoenicians will pour onto the streets of Downtown Phoenix on Saturday, May 14 at the annual Urban Wine Walk.

This pedestrian-friendly tour of downtown dining establishments is self-guided — meaning you’re free to wander and visit whichever and however many participating locations you please.
From 1-6 p.m., each spot on the map will offer at least three wine samples for $2-3 each accompanied by a complimentary snack.
The first 400 people to begin their course at CityScape Phoenix will receive this year’s free commemorative wine glass. Plus, for the first year ever, the giveaway is taking place on the second-floor terrace to coincide with the Grand Opening of Downtown Phoenix Inc.’s new storefront office space.

Central Corridor (Easy)

Start at the second-floor terrace at CityScape Phoenix — where you can grab the coveted commemorative wine glass, toast to our new digs and meet the downtown-loving folks behind Urban Wine Walk. Located at 1 E. Washington Street.
In addition to hosting the glass giveaway, CityScape has six restaurants participating so you can hop from spot to spot with ease.
From the giveaway, head to The Corner, which is serving $3 samples of local favorites like Arizona Stronghold Tazi White Blend and Page Springs Mule’s Mistake Red Blend paired with bar nuts and popcorn.
Next, head to its upstairs neighbor, Copper Blues Pub & Kitchen for $3 tastes with some hummus and flatbread.
Just a hop, skip and a jump away: Gypsy Bar is pouring $3 samples with a side of skewered meatballs and roasted veggies.
Cross Central Avenue to Squid Ink Sushi. There, you can get a taste of Black Ink Red Blend, Canoe Ridge Pinot Gris and Elio Perrone Moscato d’Asti for just $3 each. Served with chicken yakitori and kimchi.
From there, walk one block east down Jefferson to First Street, and check out The Arrogant Butcher. Try the Edna Valley Vineyard Chardonnay, Santa Christina Pinot Grigio and Ruta 22 Malbec for $3 each. Fuel up on pretzel nibs and fondue.
Just a storefront north, The Strand Urban Italian is pouring $3 samples of Sant’Antonio Scaia Bianco White Blend, Ca’ Momi Rosso Red Blend and Red/White Sangria. Try the caprese bruschetta while you’re there.
Stair Climber (Moderate)

Start at Pat & Waldo’s for $3 pours of Nik. Weis Selection Urban Riesling, Pasqua Passimento Rosso Veneto and Santa Carolina Pinot Noir. Each wine will be paired with its own signature snack: tuna crudo (Riesling), truffle sacchetti (Pinot) or braised short rib (Veneto). Located at 114 W. Adams Street.
Just a few steps north is zpizza Tap Room. Try $3 pours of Lioco Pinot Noir, Sacia Malbec and Domaine Coupage Sauvignon Blanc, served with garlic artichoke dip and focaccia. Located at 111 W. Monroe Street.
(Pro-tip: Walk inside the high-rise lobby to check out Hidden Track Bottle Shop, which is offering a special deal on your favorite bottle of wine. Order before 7 p.m. for a one-time, discounted price.)
From the restaurants at CityScape Phoenix, head west to First Avenue and walk north toward Monroe Street.
Head east to Central Avenue and turn right (south) down Central Avenue toward The Duce, a hip spot in the Warehouse District that’s pouring all organic wines for $3. Caramelized onion dip, pickle chips and savory cheesecake are also on the menu. Located at 525 S. Central Avenue.

Pedestrian Promenade (Moderate)

Start at District American Kitchen & Wine Bar, where you can enjoy $3 samples of Trinity Oaks Pinot Grigio, Blackstone Merlot and Columbia Crest Cabernet Sauvignon paired with a peppadew pepper and goat cheese popper. Located at 320 N. Third Street.
Next head to Sky Lounge located at 132 E. Washington Street. Walk west down Van Buren Street, turn left onto Second Street and right onto Washington Street; your destination is just a few steps down. Try $2 tasters paired with a fruit and cheese medley.
Just one block south down Second Street — check out Hard Rock Cafe for $3 tastes of Woodbridge By Robert Mondavi Chardonnay, Sutter Home White Zinfandel and Columbia Crest Grand Estates Cabernet Sauvignon. Feast on assorted sliders and continue on. Located at 3 S. Second Street.
Saunter west to CityScape Phoenix, where you can check out several restaurants including The Arrogant Butcher, The Strand Urban Italian, Squid Ink Sushi, The Corner, Copper Blues and/or Gypsy Bar.
For the grand finale, walk south down Central Avenue to The Duce for $3 samples of three different organic wines or the Arizona Page Springs Mules Mistake Sangiovese Blend, served with a caramelized onion dip with pickle chips and savory cheesecake. Located at 525 S. Central Avenue.
Roosevelt Route (Moderate)

Start at DeSoto Central Market, which is directly adjacent to the Roosevelt and Central light rail station. For $3 each, try the Tarima Monastrell Red, Veramonte Sauvignon Blanc and Belstar Prosecco with a side of chicken skin popcorn bites.
Walk one block east down Roosevelt Street until you hit Short Leash Hot Dogs. There, you can taste The Infinite Monkey Theorem rosé, white and red wines for $3 each. Cure the hungries with spinach artichoke stuffed pretzel knots and sausage meatballs.
Just another block east, Carly’s Bistro is serving $2 samples of Provisioner Red Blend, Vinho Verde White and Red Zinfandel with their signature Mediterranean orzo.
Loop back around to First Street and head south to Chambers on First. They’ll have $3 pours of Santa Carolina Cabernet Sauvignon, Santa Carolina Chardonnay and Finca El Origin Malbec with Bavarian pretzel. Located at 705 N. First Street.
Walk one block west down Pierce Street to the Phoenix Public Market Cafe for $3 samples of house Cabernet Sauvignon, house Chardonnay and Angels & Cowboys Rosé. Served with a bite of green chile pork.
Next up, head west down Fillmore Street to The Vig Fillmore for a $3 sample of Franco Serra Nebbiolo, Fernlands Sauvignon Blanc and Fabre Montmayou Rosé with a side of hummus to snack on.Located at 606 N. Fourth Avenue. Hang out on the patio and play some bocce ball until you’re ready to trek south for more stops in the Downtown Core.
Uptown Down (Moderate)

Starting at The Newton on Third Avenue and Camelback, stop by Southern Rail for $3 tastes of red/white sangria, Havenscourt Cabernet Sauvignon and Sola Chardonnay served with a side of Muffaletta bites.
(Quick pointer: There’s a Valley Metro park-and-ride for the Camelback and Central METRO rail station.)
Next door, First Draft Book Bar inside (Changing Hands Bookstore) is serving up dessert with $3 pours of Rickshaw Pinot Noir, Voveti Prosecco and Edna Valley Sauvignon Blanc paired with brownie bites or a sea salt chocolate chip cookie bite.
Saunter nine minutes west to St. Francis, where you can try $3 samples of Berger Gruner Veltliner White Blend, Bodegas Fernandez-Rivera Tempranillo and Richard Betts Wines My Essential Rosé paired with a taste of carrot ginger soup.

Next, head to Cafe Tranquilo at The Clarendon Hotel. To get there, purchase a light rail pass and catch the eastbound train. Get off at the Central Avenue and Indian School station. Walk south down Central Avenue until Clarendon Avenue; turn right (west) and follow Clarendon until Fourth Avenue.
Once you’re there, kick back and try $2 samples of Lyric By Etude Pinot Noir, Provenance Sauvignon Blanc and Madness & Cures Sanity Red served with corn quesadilla.
Wind your way back to the light rail station and take an eastbound train to Roosevelt and Central Station or the Downtown Core. Continue the course using one of the aforementioned routes.
