Downtown’s favorite event returns — this time perfectly paired with the International Jazz Day Festival.

The Urban Wine & Jazz Walk is a self-guided tasting tour that encourages participants to explore local bars and restaurants, sample fabulous wines, and experience great music along the way.

From 1-6 p.m.: Sip, savor and saunter your way to various local bars conveniently located along the light rail from uptown to downtown (making it a cinch to get around).

From 4-9 p.m.: Celebrate jazz at the International Jazz Day Festival featuring outdoor performances by award-winning musicians, full glasses of wine for sale, food and more outside at the Phoenix Public Market.

Participants can start at the restaurant of their choice, but the first 300 people to begin at downtown’s newest eatery Chico Malo at CityScape Phoenix will receive a free commemorative wine glass.
