CAUTION: Fun and hoppy times are ahead.
From hefeweizens to stouts — taste your way through Downtown Phoenix during the
Urban Ale Trail Saturday, Sept. 12 from 1-6 p.m.
This second-annual event, hosted by
Downtown Phoenix Inc., is a self-guided beer tour of local bars and restaurants, as well as a toast to the growing craft beer culture.
Similar to our spring event,
Urban Wine Walk, participating locations will offer three $1 to $2, 4-ounce samples of beer paired with a delicious and complimentary bar snack. Plus, each destination is just a quick walk, bike ride or light rail stop away, so you can easily — and safely — navigate between tastings.
But before you begin your trek, you’ll want to stop by
District American Kitchen and Wine Bar, where the first 300 people will be handed a free 2015 Urban Ale Trail growler.
Both amateurs and beer aficionados are welcome. We simply encourage you to take the day to explore Downtown Phoenix, socialize, and visit new (or longtime favorite) locales in central and Downtown Phoenix.
Check back soon for the list and map of participating locations.
