The mission of the Field Services Team is to continue the revitalization and promotion of Downtown Phoenix by creating meaningful experiences and a pleasant environment for those who live, work and visit our business improvement district. The Downtown Phoenix Partnership’s Field Services Team consists of the Downtown Phoenix Ambassadors and Streetscape Team.
As the most visible presence within the Partnership’s service area, Field Services members take great pride in their work. From providing directions and dining recommendations to keeping our public spaces beautiful and inviting — Field Services truly make Downtown Phoenix a better place to live, work and play.
Downtown Phoenix Streetscape Team
Maintaining Downtown Phoenix as a clean, inviting and comfortable neighborhood is the main priority of Streetscape Team members. They work to improve the outdoor urban experience by planting trees, landscaping, cleaning streets and removing graffiti tags. The Streetscape Team also carries out placemaking programs developed by the Downtown Phoenix Partnership in collaboration with the City of Phoenix, neighborhood groups and community organizations. Wearing bright green, gray and black uniforms, you’ll see them out and about from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Downtown Phoenix Ambassadors
The smiling faces that have proudly served Downtown Phoenix for more than 20 years embody the spirit of our community. Our orange-shirt-wearing roving concierges are on duty seven days a week, 365 days a year to help — whether that means making a lunch recommendation, assisting the homeless, walking you to your car or simply offering helpful directions to get you where you need to go.
Have a question? Visit the Downtown Phoenix Ambassadors headquarters located on the southeast corner of Central Avenue and Washington Street at CityScape Phoenix. You’ll find everything from restaurant menus and coupons to maps and business directories. In addition to a host of visitor resources, there’s always an Ambassador at the welcome desk to answer questions.

The Downtown Phoenix Ambassadors care about everyone in our urban center, including the homeless, which is why we want to help connect those in-need to available services. Through a partnership with Community Bridges Inc., the Downtown Phoenix Homeless Outreach team, which is an extension of the Ambassador program, refers individuals to services like substance abuse treatment, shelter, housing, meals, job training and healthcare.
By collaborating with various organizations in the Phoenix area, we hope to reduce homelessness in our city. If you see someone who needs assistance, have a question, see a safety concern or want to lend a hand — contact us! Wearing orange shirts with “Ask Me” on the back, Ambassadors are available seven days a week, every day of the year.
