Downtown Phoenix has experienced a year of remarkable growth as the area continues to evolve–with an impressive lineup of new businesses and concepts adding to the urban core.

Here’s your chance to get a first look at the latest additions, each bringing something unique to the community and contributing to the area's ever-growing reputation as a hub of creativity and connection.

There are plenty of places to discover and explore that will contribute to Downtown Phoenix’s rich culture and community. From cozy coffee shops to highly anticipated retail spaces, these new and upcoming arrivals are set to offer something for everyone to enjoy.

Skoden Coffee

Born on the Navajo Nation, this Indigenous-owned coffee shop recently relocated to a new home inside Central Records. Skoden offers coffee, tea, and pastries along with a welcoming atmosphere for people from diverse backgrounds.

Downtowners can now thrift to their heart's content because the newest Goodwill location has landed on the corner of Third Avenue and Van Buren Street, transforming the historic Firestone building into a secondhand retail and donation center.

Dolce Italia by Mekk

Step into Dolce Italia to be greeted by a heavenly aroma of freshly baked treats that taste as good as they smell. This new bakery on the corner of McKinley and Second Streets offers crowd favorites, including a signature brew coffee, yummy pastries, and classic Italian pizza with hand-tossed crust.

Midwest Wings XL

A Midwesterner through and through, Kiara brought her love for the flavors of the Midwest from Michigan to DTPHX. Carry On

Pretty Decent Concepts’ latest creation, Carry On, is officially cleared for takeoff. The hotly anticipated immersive cocktail concept is designed to give patrons a romantic 1960s-early 70s air travel experience, merging the worlds of vintage luxury travel and mixology. Head to One Renaissance Tower to embark on a 90-minute journey back to the golden age of travel.
