Introduction and Scope

Downtown Phoenix Inc. (DPI) is a community-building organization that delivers enhanced municipal services to the Downtown business core, marketing and event production to Greater Downtown, and manages the work plans for Phoenix Community Alliance and the Downtown Phoenix Community Development Corporation. DPI and its affiliate organizations are committed to making Phoenix a vibrant urban destination and one of the nation’s great cities.

This Online Privacy and Cookies Policy ("Policy") applies to your interaction with DPI on our website (https://dtphx.org/) and at any online or mobile site or application that we own and control ("Site"). Throughout this Policy, the terms “we” “us” and “our” refer to Downtown Phoenix, Inc.

We may collect, retain, use, and disclose personal and other information about you in accordance with this Policy.

Your Agreement to the Policy

To the extent permitted by applicable law, by using a Site or interacting with a Downtown Phoenix, Inc. advertisement or page or account on a third-party site, you consent to this Policy, including your consent to our use and disclosure of information about you in the manner described in this Policy.

Third Party Websites

DPI’s Site may include links to other third-party websites, including, for example, youtube.com. By using such links you may be diverted from the Site. Each third-party website is subject to its own privacy and data protection policies and is not covered by our Policy.

Our Collection, Use and Disclosure of Information

Types of information

You may interact with us in a variety of ways online, including through a mobile device. Information that we may collect about you through online interaction includes information that you may provide to us via the Site, such as your name, address, email address, and other contact information; data resulting from your activity, such as traffic and engagement, including the pages you visit on our Site. What are cookies?

Industry standards for responding to “do not track” signals are currently evolving, and we may not separately respond to or take any action with respect to a "do not track" configuration set in your internet browser.

Additional technologies

We may also use additional technologies such as pixel tags, web beacons, SDKs, and clear GIFs, and may permit our third-party service providers to use these technologies. We use these technologies for purposes such as measuring the effectiveness of our advertisements or other communications, determining viewing and response rates, and determining which offers to present to you on our own or on third party sites. By using the Site, you consent to the use of analytics and monitoring tools to collect user interaction with our products, unless prohibited by law. These interactions are collected using cookies and technical log files.

Using information

  • in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, reorganization, acquisition, asset sale, financing or lending transaction, or in any other situation where information may be disclosed or transferred as one of the assets of the DPI.

We also may share aggregated or de-identified information with third parties that cannot reasonably be used by such third parties to identify you.

Children’s privacy

Our Site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from such children.

Policy updates and effective date

If we update this Policy, we will post the updated Policy with the changes on the Site and revise the "date of most recent update" at the top of this Policy. The updated Policy is effective immediately after we post the updated Policy on the Site. To the extent permitted by applicable law, your use of the Site following the update to the Policy means that you accept the updated Policy.
