We love Downtown Phoenix, and we know you do too. From the hyper-local businesses that give DTPHX its authenticity to the passion-filled arts scene, there are so many things about our vibrant community to be grateful for. So let’s celebrate the small moments, amazing memories and unique places that make downtown special.
How it works
- Share a photo to Instagram of something you love, miss or appreciate about DTPHX
- Write a love letter to downtown in your caption, beginning with the hashtag #DearDTPHX, and you will be automatically entered to win
- Four lucky winners will receive the ultimate Downtown Experience prize pack: hotel stay, an arts and culture membership, and $50 gift cards for dining, retail/services, and something fun to do.
How to qualify
- Your work must be original (not copyrighted by someone else), and the caption limit is 1,000 characters, including the hashtag.
- You must have a working email, a public Instagram profile, be 18 years and older and live in Maricopa County.
Who we are
- This contest is hosted by Downtown Phoenix Inc. It is in not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram Inc.
When to post
- The contest will be open from 12 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, 2020 through 11:59 p.m. Monday, Aug. 31, 2020.
How to win
- Winners will be chosen by a panel of judges based on the following scoring criteria: originality/creativity (65%); clarity/appropriateness to subject matter (25%); and sincerity (10%).
What it will be used for
- In addition to sharing your work on the Downtown Phoenix Instagram page, the submissions may also be used, whole or in part, to inspire a mural or other art installation in the Downtown Phoenix Core. More details to come!
