A full day of outdoor holiday programming in a walkable urban neighborhood

Winter Wanderland is coming to downtown Saturday, Dec. 11 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

On Saturday, Dec. 11, Downtown Phoenix will be transformed into the first-ever “Winter Wanderland,” a full day of free progressive holiday performances, over-the-top holiday lights and décor, delicious food, drinks and merriment. Featuring outdoor performances at Arizona Center, CityScape Phoenix, Herberger Theater Center and more – Winter Wanderland is a family-friendly celebration of downtown’s rich performing arts, history and culture.

Schedule of Performances:

Arizona Center: 11am-12pm

  • Palo Brea: Local inventive jazz-pop band

Herberger Theater Center: 12pm-1pm

  • Phoenix Children’s Chorus: Arizona’s premier mixed-voice youth choir
  • Sips and sweets by Conceptually Social Catering

Phoenix Convention Center: 1pm-1:30pm

  • Phoenix Boys Choir Presents “A Choral Holiday Gift:” Grammy-Award winning boys choir
  • Drinks from Starbucks and a special surprise from the PCC chef

Renaissance Phoenix Downtown Hotel: 1:45pm-2:15pm

  • Live chef demo inside the lobby with a holiday snack
  • Sips for adults and children from the mixologist

Renaissance Square: 2:30pm-3pm

  • Urban Electra: all-female electric string quartet

Footprint Center: 3:15pm-3:45pm

  • Arizona School of the Arts Chamber Singers: choir of 25 high-school students

CityScape Phoenix: 4pm:4:30pm

  • CitySkate Spectacular: ice skating performance

“Cross Sections of Light + Energy” Mural | 125 E. Adams Street: 5pm-5:30pm

  • Fushicho Daiko: ensemble of Japanese taiko drummers

Arizona Center: 6pm-7pm

  • Camille Sledge: solo performance by the lead vocalist of the 16-piece Phoenix Afrobeat Orchestra
