Dia de los Niños Movie in the Park Featuring: Disney’s “Encanto”

Join Councilmember Carlos Garcia and Downtown Phoenix Inc. for a magical movie under the stars Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 7-9 p.m. In celebration of Dia de los Niños, bring the kids, blankets, chairs, a picnic or snacks, and head to Civic Space Park for a free screening of Disney’s “Encanto.” For Spanish speakers, there will also be subtitles en español.

This is a free event, and open to children and families across the Valley.

Dia de los Niños Movie in the Park is presented by Councilmember Carlos Garcia and Downtown Phoenix Inc., with generous support from the Arizona Diamondbacks and Arizona State University.

About Dia de los Niños “Children’s Day”

Celebrated on April 30 in Mexico, it’s a special day for children recognized across the world – usually filled with fun activities, gifts and special events. The goal is to make children feel honored, loved and special, and to remind adults of the importance of childhood.

The easiest, most affordable way to get to Civic Space Park is by light rail. But there’s also an $8-$10 surface lot on the northeast corner of Fillmore Street and Central Avenue, and some limited street parking.
