We know finding a fun place to hang out with your pup can be ruff — especially if you’re unfamiliar with the destination’s rules and doggie amenities. Luckily, Downtown Phoenix has several amenities for our canine friends.

The first dog park in Downtown’s business core is located at 200 W. Jefferson Street – the northeast corner of Jefferson Street and Third Avenue – open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The Thelda Williams Paw-Pup Park was brought to life in 2018 by the nonprofit Downtown Phoenix Inc., the City of Phoenix and PetSmart Charities as a much-needed amenity for our growing Downtown neighborhood. Dogs of all shapes and sizes are welcome.

The park is dedicated to longtime Phoenix councilwoman, interim mayor, and pet-lover, the late Thelda Williams.

Downtown Phoenix Inc. manages several dog waste stations. Find one near you:
