Grand Avenue Neighborhood Clean-Up
Join The Flock and Grand Avenue Members Association on Saturday, November 2 at 9 a.m. for a neighborhood clean-up event in preparation for the Grand Avenue Festival the following week!
Everyone is invited, and we look forward to seeing you there!
When: Saturday, November 2, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Where: Hawk Salvage | 1109 Grand Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85007
Schedule of Events:
9:00 a.m. – Meet at Hawk Salvage and enjoy some yummy breakfast burritos
9:30 a.m .- Depart for clean-up. Trash bags and gloves will be provided.
9:30-10:45 a.m. – Clean up the Historic Grand Avenue
10:45 a.m. – Meet back at Hawk Salvage!
Need to know:
Please plan to wear closed-toe shoes and sunscreen! We will meet promptly at 9:00 a.m. Instructions, gloves, and garbage bags will be provided after check-in.

Neighborhood Tree-Planting
Join The Flock and Phoenix Community Alliance Member Evans Churchill Community Association on Saturday, November 16, at 8:30 a.m. for a neighborhood tree-planting event! Courtesy of the City of Phoenix Community Canopy Grant, we will plant over 20 trees in the Evans Churchill Neighborhood on 5th Street between Roosevelt Street and Garfield Street.
After the event, all volunteers are invited to a complimentary brunch at Tap That Downtown. We look forward to seeing you there!
When: Saturday, November 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Where: Tap That Downtown, located at 909 N. 5th Street
Schedule of Events:
- 8:30 a.m. – Check-in + light refreshments
- 8:45 a.m. – Tree Planting Demonstration
- 9:00 a.m. – Depart for planting (Trees, tools, and gloves will be provided)
- 11:00 a.m. – Meet back at Tap That Downtown to conclude this volunteer opportunity with brunch!
