The DTPHX Ambassadors are an Enhanced Municipal Service delivered to the Downtown Core by Downtown Phoenix Inc. The mission of the Ambassadors is make a person’s visit to Downtown Phoenix safe, enjoyable and memorable.
Downtown’s roving hospitality team is on duty seven days a week, 365 days a year to help you — whether that means walking you to your car, handing out free water and sunscreen, or simply offering directions. Ambassadors are on-foot or bike in areas of high pedestrian activity. Look for the folks wearing orange shirts with “ASK ME” on the back.

Social Services Outreach
The Ambassador Social Services Outreach program is focused on connecting individuals experiencing homelessness to services. In partnership with Community Bridges Inc. (CBI), the Social Services Outreach team helps identify those in-need, builds relationships through daily connections, coordinates with local support services, and helps eliminate barriers to permanent supportive housing for individuals experiencing homelessness.
Caretakers of the Core
The “Downtown Core,” also known as the Downtown Phoenix Business Improvement District, is the Ambassador service area. The boundaries for the Downtown Core are Seventh Street on the east to Third Avenue on the west, Fillmore Street on the north to the Union Pacific tracks (south of Jackson Street) on the south.
