Car enthusiasts, your nirvana awaits.
Hundreds of new cars, trucks, utilities, crossovers, fuel-efficient machines and prototype vehicles will be on display at the Phoenix Convention Center Thanksgiving Day through Sunday for the 2010-Model Arizona International Auto Show.
Ford Fiesta - Top Selling Car (UK)Now in its 40th year, this edition of the Auto Show features over 400 vehicles spread out over the entire bottom level of the Convention Center. Attendees will have the opportunity to sit behind the wheel, look under the hood, and kick the tires of their favorite 2010 model cars and pre-production vehicles. In the case of the all-new Ford Fiesta (pictured), they can even test-drive it.
In addition to the rows and rows of sweet rides, the Auto Show will include the Penske Luxury Salon, featuring a lavish selection of exotic luxury and sports cars including the latest offerings from Ferrari, Maserati, Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, and Porsche (you’ll definitely want to check out the new Porsche four-door sedan, the Panamera).
Green Trail teaches show-goers about the latest trends in alternative fuel vehicles and green arrows will direct you to all the hybrid vehicles–from Cadillac, Chevrolet, Ford, Toyota, Honda, Lexus, Mazda, and GMC among others–on display.
Ever wondered what it would be like to navigate a Jeep Wrangler over logs and climb mountains like they do in commercials? At the Camp Jeep Arizona exhibit, professional 4×4 drivers will give riders a first-hand demonstration of Jeep’s off-road capabilities.
That’s just a taste of what you can expect at this year’s Auto Show. You can check it out for yourself Thursday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tickets are $9 for adults and $5 for military, seniors, students and children ages 7-12.
