While out and about the other day I discovered a new little slice of heaven in Phoenix: An Indie Coffee Shop right in the middle of Downtown.  Its called Cartel Coffee Lab and its AMAZING! I am a avid coffee drinker–maybe you would even call it a little excessive–but I just really love coffee.  And it’s not so much even coffee per se; more like overly sweet lattes, Chais, and mochas.  Okay, who am I kidding, I HATE black coffee.  I used to work at a chain coffee house and had to do taste-testing all the time and black coffee is just so bitter. I simply can’t take it.
CartelSo, for that reason I am continuously looking for bigger and better coffee shops. And, by George, I think I’ve got it: CARTEL COFFEE LAB! Cartel Coffee Lab gives you a one-of-a-kind experience, with their cappuccinos and “Clover Coffee Experience.”  Cartel is located on 1st Street just north of Washington and there you’ll find everything, from their unique imported coffee from Huehuetenango, Guatemala, to vegan doughnuts!
You won’t get the hustle and bustle of fast-paced business you might find at other chain coffee shops. No, at Cartel you can sit on any of their super-comfy couches, relax with your drink, converse with the locals, and leech off their WiFi without any worries!  The staff makes it a point to insure that your experience is well worth the trip, whether it’s from a couple miles away or just down the block.  So stop on in and say hello to Jason or Tyson. You won’t be disappointed!
