If it’s Asian you’re cravin’, Downtown Phoenix has added yet another way for you to get your fix.
vietnamese-spring-rolls-590This Wednesday, November 17, Viet Kitchen will open the doors to its Downtown location at 114 W. Adams St., taking over the spot formerly occupied by Acapulco Mexican restaurant, between Z Pizza and The Hero Factory. Viet Kitchen also operates a popular location in North Phoenix.
Owners Jenny and Tom Nguyen have been lauded on Yelp for their light and fresh Asian menu, recipes passed down from generations of restaurant owning family members back in their native Vietnam. Using  fresh herbs and greens they are serving up the mainstays of Vietnamese cuisine, including delicate Pho (noodle soups), exciting rolls (pictured, left), salads, stir fries, hot pots, and even hard-to-find French-style barbecuef beef or pork sandwiches. You can peruse their expansive menu here.
Viet Kitchen is vegetarian friendly, with dishes like eggplant stir fry and tofu tomatoes, and also offers soy milk along with fresh lemon, coconut and orange juices.
To start, Viet Kitchen is will maintain Monday-Sunday hours of 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Be sure to stop in on Wednesday and welcome Jenny and Tom to the neighborhood!
