Province-Chicago-courtesyThe Chicago Tribune recently featured a preview of Downtown Phoenix’s newest fine dining establishment set to open next week.  Province is scheduled to open March 10 along with its new home, the Westin Phoenix Downtown at Central and Van Buren.  Province is described as a “Latin-influenced, eco-focused concept” and is highly regarded in the Chicago area, home to the first and only other location.
Chef and proprietor Randy Zweiban was approached by Starwood Hotels, parent company of Westin, about expanding to Phoenix and he gladly accepted citing the hotel’s “beautiful location” and the availability of local produce due to Arizona’s long growing season.  To read about Downtown Phoenix’s newest restaurant from those who know it best, please visit:  A Second Province Opens March 10 in Phoenix.  For a look at the original Province menu check out their website at provincerestaurant.com.
