A panel of distinguished judges has selected the winners of the 2011 Annual Arizona Young Artists’ Competition, held March 26 at Herberger Theater Center in Downtown Phoenix.

Each winner received a $1,000 cash and the opportunity to interact with highly-regarded arts professionals.
 
“Selecting the winners was not easy for the judges, as all of the contestants really stood out this year,” said Judy Rollings, Performance Outreach Director at Herberger Theater Center. “It was heartening to see their passionate commitment in pursuing the arts and keeping that essential aspect of our culture vibrant and alive.”
