Chef Jay will be rocking a brunch with all the bells and whistles–succulent ham, omelette station, raw bar, prime rib, mac and cheese station, every kind of carb you can imagine, plus a breakfast bar with bottomless mimosas and a flower for your beloved. 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. $29 for adults; $12.50 for kids. Steve’s Greenhouse Grill
There’s nothing like patio dining at Steve’s, which will offer their traditional Mother’s Day brunch buffet (omelettes, carving station, fresh fruit and patries) along with $4 mimosas and strawberry martinis, plus live music from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Brunch will be served from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. $14.95 for adults; $10.95 for kids 12 and under. Matador Mexican Restaurant
One of Downtown’s oldest and most respected restaurants is prepared to pay mother a spicy tribute with their classic takes on Mexican breakfast, including omelettes packed with chorizo and machaca, egg-stuffed burros, tortas, and steak and pork chop plates.  For a special treat, Mariachi Orguillo de Mexico will be on hand to serenade your mamacita. Compass Arizona Grill
If you’re looking for brunch with a view, venture to the Valley’s only rotating rooftop restaurant, atop the Hyatt Downtown. Theirs is a Mother’s Day buffet without peers, loaded with breakfast, dinner and dessert vittles that will satisfy any taste or appetite. 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. $69 for adults; $30 for children 12 and under. Province at Westin Downtown
Head Chef Randy Zweiban started his brunch service for Easter and it continues this Mother’s Day. Some highlights from the South American/Spanish-influenced menu include tortilla soup ($6), house-roasted turkey club ($13), orange-and-almond pancakes ($13) or miso chile glazed salmon ($21). 1130 The Restaurant

1130 at Arizona Center is doing something extra special for moms this Sunday, giving every matriarch a special gift envelope, which once returned unopened during a future visit could be worth up to $100 in rewards. The restaurant will be serving its usual fantastic brunch, including lobster omelletes, steak benedict, plus $2 bloody marys and mimosas all day. 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (602) 368-3046.

Kincaid’s

At Kincaid’s, $30 gets you buffet-style prime rib, ham, creme brulee, French toast, eggs, herb cream cheese, Louie salads, bacon, plus all-you-can-drink mimosas and bloody marys. 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Reservations not required by recommended for larger parties.
