One of the anchor stores of Downtown’s multi-use CityScape development is set to open its doors to the public Thursday.
OakvilleWEB2Napa Valley-born Oakville Grocery, will keep hours of 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday – Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
If you follow Oakville on Facebook you’ve been privy to some leaked photos recently teasing everything from the store’s wide selection of Arizona-made wines to bathroom tissue (complete with the laugh-out-loud caption, “We’ve got TOILET PAPER! oooooo ahhhhhhh!!!!!” Hilarious.
Of course Oakville has much more than bathroom tissue. There are gourmet cheeses, salsas, specialty sauces and condiments, olives, chips, dips, and a whole lot more.
In addition to groceries, household items, wine and beer (including Moose Drool in a can), Oakville should prove to be a popular lunch hour stop, offering handmade pizzas, hot and cold sandwiches, soups, salads, and other to-go grub.
There’s a wine bar with three beer taps in the back and an expansive hot/cold beverage bar in the front, with a walk-up window facing the CityScape interior park for Downtowners looking to get their coffee and go.
Check out all of Oakville’s charms this Thursday.
