The Downtown Phoenix Partnership honored those people, projects, and businesses that are helping revitalize the Central City at Monday’s 18th Annual DREAMR Awards luncheon, which was held at the Renaissance Downtown Phoenix by Marriott.
DREAMRMayor Greg Stanton’s Chief of Staff Paul Blue delivered the keynote address, identifying the Mayor’s vision for Downtown’s future.
The following DREAMR Awards were handed out:
Private Sector Individual: Michael Ebert, RED Development
Public Sector Individual: Michael Johnson, Vice Mayor, Councilman, District 8
Project: Civic Space Park
Organization: Arizona Diamondbacks
Unsung Heroes: Downtown Operations Unit
In addition, the Partnership’s “Best of Downtown” Awards, determined by popular vote, were announced:

Best Happy Hour: Majerle’s Sports Grill
Best Nightlife Spot: Copper Blues

Best Place To Relax: Grotto at Arizona Center
Best Cultural Attraction: Herberger Theater Center
Best Retail Store: Urban Outfitters
Best Athlete: Jared Dudley, Phoenix Suns
Best Personal Care: Health Coach Chiropractic and Physical Therapy
Best Convenience Store: John & Kathy’s Shop
