Get your Muppet Stormtrooper costumes ready, Phoenix Comicon is on at the Phoenix Convention Center this weekend.
Yes, there will be stars like Patrick Stewart, William Shatner and Levar Burton (and other non-Trek ones, too), and over 25 events, but we all know this is about the costumes. And the Geek Prom. And the Zombie Walk. And the Steampunk Ball. Ok, maybe it isn’t all about the costumes.
Whatever your geekdom, Phoenix Comicon has you covered. The event starts Thursday, May 24 at 4:00 p.m. and continues until 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 27.
Besides the Zombie Walk, there will be a Zombie Beauty Pageant, interactive games, tech demonstrations, freebies, and plenty of discussion panels featuring some of the biggest names in TV, movies, comics and anime, including:
Casper Van Dien, Erin Gray, Colin Ferguson, Brent Spiner, Marina Sirtis and Lou Ferrigno and comic-book writers and artists like Garth Ennis, Brett Booth, George Perez and P.C. Cast.
