lego-racetrack-ascAh, LEGOs. Snapping all those little pieces together; building mostly-ugly-but-still-cool towers and squares and “castles;” stepping on pieces in the middle of the night. Really, it’s hard to go wrong.
Now all that fun can take place on a grand stage with the LEGO Travel Adventure exhibition at the Arizona Science Center.
Open now, the exhibit invites families to create their own imaginary dream machines capable of transporting them to fantastic destinations.
While aimed toward getting children to think creatively and explore ways to move different types of vehicles through all kinds of terrain, we all know this is really for mom – and more likely dad – to take over the tables of the Freeman Gallery.
The exhibition runs through Jan. 1, 2013.
