On Opening Day it’s perfectly OK to take your kids out of school, miss work (cough, cough), and spend a day at the ballpark. On Opening Day, our Arizona Diamondbacks begin their pursuit of the National League West title, a pennant, and its second world championship. Opening Day isn’t a national holiday, but it should be.
