Feast_banner_400_300Imagine a community gathering so big that it took a half-mile long dining table to seat everyone.
No, no, this isn’t like those forced Thanksgiving celebrations where everyone dissolves into bickering over politics, this is Feast on the Street a FREE community event to celebrate local food.
Join local bands, food trucks, artists, chefs, storytellers, zombies, students, solar oven operators, native crafters and, well, just about the whole Phoenix community at this Downtown event.
Inspired by artists Clare Patey‘s London Feast on the Bridge – where a giant table takes over the Southwark Bridge – Feast on the Street will take over First Street between Moreland and Taylor streets in Downtown Phoenix. There’s a whole slew of activities lined up like roving musicians and street performers, floats, mobile gardens –  you know what, just check out their Schedule of Events for the full lineup.
This event is all about doing good for the community, so it’s a BYOWaterbottle, bike friendly, family friendly, local food friendly all around feel good event.
