Bars & Nightlife Food, Restaurants & Dining Sports Spotlight Fara Illich October 16, 2013

If you’re looking for a place to watch NFL football you could do worse than a bar and restaurant owned by an NFL franchise.
Dating back to before the Great Depression, Tom’s Tavern & 1929 Grill is one of Downtown Phoenix’s oldest restaurants (only Sing High is older, by just a few months). But since being acquired by Arizona Cardinals owner Michael Bidwill, the traditional eatery–best known for its chili, blue plate specials and dignitary regulars–has really stepped up its game.
Toms-014With new ownership has come new management, a sleekly  remodeled bar area, expanded menus and inspired daily specials, not to mention a fierce commitment to turning Tom’s into a Sunday hot-spot for NFL football fans. From from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. every Sunday Tom’s offers Happy Hour deals all day, including:
