Let’s all ride a bike, up to the highest height, let’s all ride a bike and send it soaring. Oh wait, that’s not how the song goes. No matter, bicycles are taking over Downtown this weekend.
With Pedal Craft on Friday and the Hotel Palomar debuting their complementary bike program with a community ride on Sunday, it’s a good weekend to experience Downtown on two wheels. British nanny in tow or not.
On Friday night stop by MonOrchid for Pedal Craft Volume Three and enjoy a bicycle-themed poster show and spinning music. Meet up with hundreds of other cyclists before heading out on a 9 p.m. ride with Phoenix Spokes People to spots throughout our fair city. Don’t miss the opportunity to snap a group selfie in front of the Pedal Craft mural on the side of Eye Lounge.
On Sunday visit the Hotel Palomar and celebrate their new fleet of colorful bikes that will be available free of charge for guests. Even if you aren’t staying at the hotel, all cyclists can benefit from the cool pocket square maps the hotel put together featuring custom short, medium and long rides around Downtown. The Little Black Dress & Dapper Dude themed community ride starts at 4 p.m. (the most dapper dude and dame will win a prize.) Complimentary refreshments and bike tune-ups will be available.
