It happens every four years and now the FIFA World Cup will be decided during four weeks of heart-pounding action.

The Rose & Crown Pub
The Rose & Crown Pub at Heritage & Science Park has been working tirelessly to create the ideal setting for fans to watch all the World Cup matches, even erecting a covered TV stadium with two 80-inch screens and misters to accommodate large (and loud) groups.  There’s also a Caipirinha (Brazil’s national cocktail) bar and trailer offering three additional screens. Raffle prizes include trips to Las Vegas, Diamondbacks tickets, jerseys and official World Cup gear.
Though it’s preferred that you support Team USA or England, all allegiances are welcome. And while you’re glued to the many screens, you can sip specially priced Oskar Blues beers including Old Chub, Mama’s Little Yella Pils and Dale’s Pale Ale ($4), plus the deliciously potent G’Knight Imperial Red ($4.50).
Film Bar
Like big screens? Enjoy Team USA matches (first up, Ghana on Monday, June 17) on Film Bar’s projection screen for free. Members of La Furia Roja 1881, a Phoenix-based soccer support group, get $4 draft beers.
Tilted Kilt
Opening at 8:30 a.m. for 9 a.m. World Cup matches, the Kilt will be serving up a special breakfast menu featuring corned beef hash. The Downtown location is home to the Team USA-supporting American Outlaws soccer club.
Networks Bar & Grill
Networks is World Cup Central for fans of any country. They’re even offering special bar items for all the teams, like the Brazilian Caipirinha and American Apple Pie shot.
Coach’s Corner Grill
For June 17’s big Mexico vs Brazil match Coach’s Corner will be giving away an official Team Mexico jersey and other prizes, plus have the Modelo girls on hand to mingle with fans. Speaking of Modelo, get 24 oz. cans for just $4, Newcastle bottles for $4 and $3 Coors Light drafts.
Majerle’s Sports Grill
Downtown’s longtime sports HQ will be showing all the matches with sound.
The Turf Irish Pub
The Turf will open early to show World Cup matches with sound and offer a rotating list of specials.
Chloe’s Corner
It’s surfing and soccer this summer at Chloe’s. While you’re waiting to take your turn on the FlowRider you can peruse the selection of board shorts and bikinis at the surf shop while taking in the World Cup action.
George and Dragon
Home base for Team USA, England and Mexico, the historic pub and restaurant will be opening an hour before each day’s first match.
The World Cup starts Thursday, June 12 and continues through Sunday, July 13.
