These downtown-synonymous creative endeavors will be on full display this Saturday when Phoenix New Times’ annual Artopia event takes over the Monarch Theatre.
The 21-and-up party features a vast collection of local artwork, food and drink, plus a celebration of this year’s Big Brain Award finalists, 15 creatives all vying for $500 prizes in the categories of music, visual art, performing art, design and culinary art. The show starts at 8 p.m. and food and drink samples are complimentary with the purchase of a ticket. Tickets are $25, however downtowners can unlock a discount by entering promo code DTPHX at checkout.
