The Wiggles, the world’s #1 preschool entertainment group, is excited to announce they are partnering with the Phoenix Animal Care Coalition (PACC911), a nonprofit organization that brings together more than 100 animal welfare groups across the state of Arizona, for their upcoming concert at Comerica Theatre on Tuesday, July 24th.
wigglesFamilies are encouraged to bring food, blankets, toys, and any other animal-care products to the 6:30PM show in support of PACC911’s brand new initiative, the Chuck Waggin’ Pet Food Pantry. The program, which launched this summer, provides low-income households with the necessary means to keep their pets in their home by offering food and pet service referrals to help care for their beloved furry friends. These animals would otherwise need to be relinquished by their owners and put up for adoption, sometimes never finding another loving family.
“The Chuck Waggin’ Pet Food Pantry is excited to partner with The Wiggles and welcomes them to the Phoenix area,” said Donna Barker, President & Founder of the new program. “I would like to thank the Wiggles Fans in advance for the donations they will bring. As we all know, our pets are family members too. Their donations will be helping those in need keep their families together.”
Anyone interested in donating to PACC911’s Chuck Waggin’ Pet Food Pantry can bring their gifts to the Comerica Theatre prior to the show beginning at 5:00PM. Pet food is at the top of the list of requested donation items.
Tickets for The Wiggles Celebration Tour in Phoenix are on sale now and are available through LiveNation.com, all Ticketmaster locations, at the box office or by calling 1-800-745-3000. For more information on PACC911 and how to help, visit www.PACC911.org.
