Does anyone else need to touch some grass? We certainly know the feeling.

When life gets hard or work gets too busy, it’s time for a break. Whether you take a walk or enjoy your lunch somewhere new, Downtown Phoenix has several spots for that much-needed recharge.

From peaceful gardens to public art, there are plenty of convenient options for a quick and meaningful repose in Downtown Phoenix.

Peace Park
400 E Monroe St
Phoenix, AZ 85004

In the midst of the bustling city is a quiet haven you have driven by but probably never seen. Peace Park is hidden between the Phoenix Convention Center and Arizona Center at the Roman Catholic Diocese of Phoenix. There are dozens of trees, grassy areas, and a tranquil fountain. It may be surrounded by buzzing businesses, but upon stepping inside the park, it’s quiet and peaceful, just like the name suggests.
