Wrigley Lecture Series
How do we build just, sustainable communities? Find out next Tuesday, April 15 as Environmental Social Scientist Julian Agyeman talks “just sustainabilities” during a free outdoor event in Civic Space Park.
While you devour your free sweet treat from one of three local dessert food trucks—that’s right, free—Agyeman will discuss how to build communities that are accessible to everyone from a social, environmental, city planning and economic perspective.
The lecture, Just Sustainabilities: Re-Imagining E/Quality, Living within Limits, is part of the Wrigley Lecture Series, which fosters conversations about sustainability among students and community members alike.
Hosted by ASU’s Global Institute of Sustainability, this is the first time a Wrigley Lecture will be hosted Downtown, with this topic becoming increasingly relevant as Downtown continues to develop and grow.
And how do we ensure a more just, equal community? You’ll just have to attend the lecture to find out. Oh, and make sure to RSVP to secure your seat.
