Gather your friends well-versed in pop culture, history, art and the obscure — it’s trivia night in Downtown Phoenix. If the prizes don’t get you motivated, perhaps the beer and wine options will pique some interest. Who knows? You may even find your new favorite hangout spot. Here are five trivia nights to get your thinks and drinks on:

Crown Public House

Crown Public House is all about game time, so it comes natural to introduce some friendly trivia competition to the mix. Tucked between Chase Field and Talking Stick Resort Arena, this pub has 19 beers on drafts and plenty of TVs to watch your favorite team.
Trivia takes place every Wednesday night at 7 p.m. with questions varying from science, history and everything in between. Arrive early for happy hour from 3 to 7 p.m. and get $4 off well drinks and $1 off drafts. Be sure to keep an eye on their Facebook page for monthly themed trivia nights.
Location: 333 E. Jefferson Street

Crescent Ballroom

Currently craving: Chips, guac and a fun night at Crescent Ballroom. You may know it as a live music venue and restaurant, however, Crescent Ballroom also hosts a popular trivia night every Sunday at 6 p.m. Seats fill up quickly for this one, so rally your group early and take advantage of discounted beer and burritos.
Prizes for the top teams range from free show tickets, bacon and gift cards to Crescent Ballroom or Stinkweeds Records.
Location: 308 N. 2nd Ave.

GenuWine

Wine not test your knowledge at GenuWine? Pour your own glass from the self-serve wine bar and get comfy in the relaxed Roosevelt Row atmosphere. Share one of their tasty cheese boards at trivia every Monday night at 7 p.m. (and check out their events for comedy and paint nights too).
Location: 888 N. 1st Ave., Suite 101

Rott n’ Grapes

Another RoRo newbie, trivia at Rott n’ Grapes is hosted in their snazzy speakeasy. Make your way to the Third Avenue and Roosevelt Street restaurant on Monday nights at 7 p.m. for trivia and more than 60 wine options. We also recommend trying their shareable pizzas or a charcuterie board.
Location: 1001 N. 3rd Ave., Suite 1

Carly’s Bistro

Named the 2018 “Best of Phoenix Trivia Night” by the Phoenix New Times, Carly’s can’t be left off the list. The colorful bistro hosts trivia every Wednesday night at 7 p.m. and occasionally does themed nights — including a Back to the Future event on May 29.
Location: 128 E. Roosevelt Street
