Our weather is cooling off (a bit) and fall is just two short weeks away. Why not celebrate with a relaxing Sunday at Hance Park?
The 32.5-acre park hosts dozens of events each year — including the City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation’s Hance Harvest Festival. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 15, the Hance Park Urban Plaza (south of Burton Barr Library) will have live music, food trucks, lawn games, cultural activities and a farmers market.
Cool off with a treat from Old School Ice Cream Bus or grab lunch at the Back in Thyme Food Truck. PHXPlays will also be offering arts & crafts as well as a free yoga session. No tickets needed — just show up, bring your friends and family and don’t forget the sunscreen!
