Downtown Phoenix Fry’s Invites Community To Oct. 23 Grand Opening Festivities

Fry’s Food Stores is inviting the community to experience the grand opening of Arizona’s first urban grocery store at First and Jefferson streets on Wednesday, Oct. 23 following a ribbon cutting ceremony at 7:30 a.m. Come see the new Downtown Phoenix neighborhood store — there’s a lot to love.

Grand opening festivities will include:

• A $20 Fry’s gift card for the first 250 guests
• Live music by Mariachi Aguilar
• Sampling throughout the store
• Check presentation of $20,000 to both St. Mary’s Food Bank and Chicanos Por La Causa to help alleviate food insecurity in Arizona

Special appearances by:

• Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Archie Bradley from 1-3 p.m.
• Phoenix Suns Street Team, General Manager James Jones, Suns Dancers and Gorilla
• Arizona Diamondbacks Street Team, “Gonzo” Luis Gonzalez and Baxter
