Hoppy days are here again Saturday, Oct. 23 from 1-5 p.m.
Downtown Phoenix Inc.’s annual Urban Ale Trail returns for its eighth year on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021 from 1-5 p.m.
Long celebrated as a foodie paradise, Downtown Phoenix also boasts one of the most extensive and diverse craft beer scenes in Arizona. It’s a chance to sip your way through some of the state’s best bars and restaurants, the vast majority locally owned and operated and all located within a walkable, art-rich neighborhood.
This year, 25 Downtown Phoenix bars and restaurants are participating in Ale Trail including event newcomers Greenwood Brewing, Lucky’s Indoor/Outdoor and Hop Box at Pemberton House.
In fact, 36% of the participants are making their Ale Trail debut and have opened within the past year including Pa’La, Adams Table and 810 Billiards & Bowling.
Each location will be serving three varieties of 4-ounce beer samples for $3 each, plus complimentary snacks from pizza to ranch dusted chicken skins.
There’s no registration necessary and the Trail can be done in any order.
For those looking to begin their hike early, the first 200 people will receive a free commemorative growler at the newly open &More bar located inside the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown beginning at 1 p.m.
From there, the Trail can be explored in any order, using the lure of libations to promote downtown’s hyper local bar and restaurant scene, walkability, and access to mass transit.
