This global fitness community has made a home in Downtown Phoenix. From the owner of The Diaspora Collective comes Latha, an immersive experience where you celebrate and discover Africa and the African diaspora’s diverse and delicious flavors with every “bite, sip, foot tap, shoulder shimmy, and head bob.” Latha offers a menu of carefully sourced ingredients from local farms and a selection of wine, beer, and spirits made and owned by Black artisans. The new restaurant is located inside the Silva House in Heritage Square.

In need of a fresh salad or a hearty gyro? The newest restaurant at CityScape has what you crave. Opened by three cousins named Nick, Nick The Greek has a menu of flavorful rotisserie meats, charbroiled skewers, and more. The franchise started in 2012 in California. Currently, Downtown Phoenix is its only Arizona location.

You can’t be in Downtown Phoenix without hearing about “SAD BOY.” The Phoenix-born and raised tattoo artist is known for not just placing art to skin but the overall experience when you sit in his chair. He recently opened SadBoy Studios, a private tattoo shop in Downtown’s Heard Building. The studio also hosts artists Christian, Dead Lamb, Kiki, Kenny, Miguel, and Tim.
