Phoenix Art Museum has become the largest art museum in the southwestern United States, providing access to art from all over the world to the people of Arizona. Throughout the year the museum presents festivals, live performances, independent art films and educational programs that enlighten, entertain and stimulate. W 10am-9pm; Th-Sat 10am-5pm; Sun 12pm-5pm. First Friday 6pm-10pm.

Represent - Virtual Film...

Represent follows a teenage boy through Phoenix Art Museum during a school field trip, an experience that yields an unexpected effect. The film explores the power and importance of representation in museum spaces and features actor Mykhal Polite in his first film. Represent enjoyed its world premiere in 2020 at the Providence Children’s Film Festival in Rhode Island, where it received the 2020 Hasbro Children’s Hospital Audience Choice Award. The film was also selected for the 2020 New York International Children’s Film Festival, an Oscar-qualifying festival, and the Pasadena International Film Festival. Represent has additionally been shown internationally at film festivals in Istanbul, Turkey; Perth, Australia; and Brazil. Free online....
