"A place of living, gathering, celebrating, discovering, burying and growth." (Such & Champ)

The substation has eight murals produced by nine artists [Dwayne Manuel (@dwaynethedestroyer), Natasha Martinez and Anitra Molina (@rezmoski, @yukueone), who collaborated on a wall, Brian Boner (@bonerbrian), Tato Caraveo (@tatocaraveo), Lalo Cota (@lalocota), Lauren Lee (@mslaurenlee), Such Styles (@_suchstyles) and Shela Yu (@shellshaker)] to celebrate the arts and vibrancy of downtown Phoenix. It's now a popular marker for First Fridays, a monthly art walk that has grown into one of the largest in the country.

Artlink led the Phoenix Center for the Arts and Urban Institute 2D Project, which included eight wall murals on the substation ranging from 300 square feet to 1,600 square feet.
