Cahokia co-founder and Diné artist Eunique Yazzie worked with a group of muralists to complete a vision that represents a community full of culture and history. They painted for their people and to create a space and tradition that is recognized across Arizona, from urban centers to sovereign tribal nations.
The muralists finished it in time for the 2022 Indigenous People's Day festival to transform Roosevelt Row’s arts district, turning it into an Indigenous celebration of all Native cultures with family-friendly activities, live music, and traditional foods. (azluminaria.org)
