"In 2018, I went on an expedition to Svalbard to research climate change with TheArcticCircle.org. I was onboard the tall ship Antigua for two weeks, sailing through the High Arctic with 14 other artists, writers, educators and the ship's crew going on excursions around glaciers, up mountains, and through pancake ice daily.
In my home town of Phoenix I made a mural combining imagery of the Arctic and the Desert, to illustrate that we are one connected planet." - Isaac Caruso, artist
