The simplest of materials; paper, wire, scissors, and tape, can be used to create expressive puppets. Working primarily with flat paper, the creative use of joints and layering can create complex movement and convincing depth. Lyon will demonstrate various techniques he has developed to create performances for both stage and screen. Participants will also be able to make a puppet from one of many different templates. $20.
