Details

The opening will celebrate two series — Be Open and Picturing Inclusivity — each providing insight into the lives of adults living with autism and/or intellectual/developmental disabilities. Be Open, which is located in the lobby of the HSEB, is a series of portraits taken by local photographer Scott Baxter that capture the achievement and pride of an America open to hiring individuals on the spectrum. Picturing Inclusivity, on display on the fifth floor of the HSEB, is a unique series by Irish photographer Stuart Neilson, PhD, that visualizes how people on the spectrum interact in public spaces — with each other, nature and inanimate objects. Free with RSVP.
