Phoenix Public Library is partnering with GRAMMY® Award-winning artist Laufey and her global Laufey Book Club to release a special limited-edition library card ahead of Library Card Sign-Up Month in September and in celebration of A Very Laufey Day on Sunday, August 24, 2025 — a worldwide fan event designed to inspire community, creativity, and connection. Please note: Current Phoenix Public Library cardholders who choose the exclusive Laufey design will receive a new library card number. In addition to picking up your new card, make your own guitar bookmark! Each kit includes a guitar image on cardstock to cut and decorate, plus yarn or embroidery thread to create a tassel — the perfect keepsake for marking your favorite books. Free.
