Celebrate the season of renewal with a joyful day filled with vibrant cultural experiences for all ages!
This year, we are honored to welcome special guests from Japan — authentic and dedicated Kokeshi artists, Mr Sato, who carry on the rich tradition of handcrafted Japanese wooden dolls.
Kokeshi are traditional Japanese wooden dolls, first created in the Tohoku region over 150 years ago. Known for their simple cylindrical bodies and beautifully hand-painted designs, Kokeshi represent wishes for children’s health, happiness, and protection.
Immerse yourself in the spirit of spring through a variety of engaging activities that celebrate Japanese culture:
Kokeshi-themed Activities
Traditional Arts & Crafts
Hands-on Workshops
Live Performance
Interactive Exhibits
From creating your own Kokeshi-inspired art to admiring colorful koinobori (carp streamers) — symbols of hope, strength, and good fortune — every moment offers an opportunity to connect with the joyful essence of childhood and new beginnings.
Bring your family and friends and join us in celebrating the Spring of Hope — a season that inspires dreams, courage, and happiness. $13 - $15.
